Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in Los Angeles on Sunday, multiple law enforcement sources told TMZ.
The shooting took place outside Marathon Clothing – the store he opened in 2017 – on Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles at approximate 3:20 pm local time.
Two other men are said to be in a serious condition following the incident and the suspect remains at large.
According to Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles police have cordoned off the area where the shooting took place as the investigation continued.
It has been reported one suspect fled the scene of the crime in a vehicle.

The star released his first studio album, Victory Lap, last year and was nominated for a Best Rap Album at the Grammys.
However, he lost out to fellow rapper Cardi B, who became the first female rap artist to take the gong.
During his 10-plus years in the music industry, Nipsey released multiple mixtapes, with them dating back to 2005.
Also, he independently released 10 projects through his record label, All Money In, and Atlantic Records, prior to his debut album.
He worked with the likes of Drake, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Tyga, Ne-Yo and many more.
The musician was recently involved in the new Destination Crenshaw arts project and previously spoke about his love of music and technology.
In an interview with The Times in 2018, he said: “I grew up in gang culture. We dealt with death, with murder.
“It was like living in a war zone, where people die on these blocks and everybody is a little bit immune to it.
“I guess they call it post-traumatic stress, when you have people that have been at war for such a long time.”
He concluded: “I think L.A. suffers from that because it’s not normal yet we embrace it like it is after a while.”

On Twitter, Pharrell wrote: “You were about something positive and for your community in every chance you had to speak and because of that You inspired millions, millions who will uphold your legacy forever. Rest amongst the stars.”
Rihanna tweeted: “This doesn’t make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may his spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones! I’m so sorry this happened to you @nipseyhussle.”
Nipsey is survived by his two children and his girlfriend, Lauren London.
