Last week, Kathy Griffin made sure she really never gets that apology from Anderson Cooper when she came for Anderson’s good buddy Andy Cohen, like she has before. Once again, Kathy claimed that Andy treated her like “a dog” when she was at Bravo, implied his talk show only got renewed because he was running the network, and that he was one of the worst bosses she’s ever had. Andy finally has something to say about all that.

I honestly thought Andy was going to address Kathy’s accusations on Watch What Happens Live in a game called “10 Loser Points to Griffin-dork,” but he kept it somewhat classy. Andy spoke to USA Today about the whole thing on Tuesday. Andy is from St. Louis, Missouri, which might explain his response. Because it’s just about as passive-aggressive as any judgy country aunt that has ever uttered the words “I’ll pray for yew” at a family potluck.

“She’s made up a lot of stuff about me in the past few years that has just been untrue and sad. I hope she finds some peace.”

So according to Andy, anything that comes out of Kathy’s mouth about him is a sad lie. Like when she recently ask if someone could explain what his skill set is (if he has one). Okay, I’m on Team Andy with that one. Because Kathy’s assertion that Andy doesn’t have any skills is clearly not true. He’s a seasoned expert at coaxing shade out of people.

Andy also had a problem with some of the stuff Kathy said about Anderson, like when she claimed that she didn’t think Anderson was the “kind of guy” who would apologize to her for dumping her as a friend. Andy didn’t specify what she said that bothered him so, he just made it known her words really pissed him off.

“She said something that I found incredibly vile about (Cooper) last week that I think says more about her than anything else.”

Andy probably didn’t like Kathy’s claim that Anderson isn’t the “I’m sorry” type. I also don’t really believe that either. Because Anderson totally looks like the type of sweetheart who would preface an insult with an apology. Like “I’m sorry Andy, but that tie clashes with your face.
